Source

In-vacuum undulator (IVU21)

The beamline source is the component that generates the synchrotron light is used to make the experiments.

The NCD beam line is tunable over a wavelength range of 0.9 Å - 1.9 Å and deliver a high photon flux onto the sample with an excellent beam collimation and photon density as well as high stability. For this purpose the photon source of this beam line is an undulator, U21, placed in a medium 4m straight section.
