ALBA awarded for risk prevention
The ALBA Synchrotron has been recognized by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security of the Spanish government with the BONUS system for contributing to the reduction and prevention of occupational hazard.
| The very low level of occupational hazard in the facility and the additional preventive measures adopted by ALBA in 2011 - such as having a prevention risk technician as a staff member - have been key points to receive the award. BONUS program is addressed to companies and institutions that help to reduce occupational risk through developing efficient solutions with the aim of avoiding workplace injuries and illnesses. Asepeyo Mutua - labour health insurance company - presented the awards last May 7th at 12:00 at the Hospital Asepeyo Sant Cugat. |
