Dr. Biscari new Director of ALBA

Dr. Caterina Biscari was recently appointed Director of the CELLS Consortium
by its Rector Council. This opens a new era to our facility just when it is
facing the beginning of users’ reception.

Dr. Biscari has a degree in Physics by the Universidad Complutense of Madrid
and has developed her scientific career in several laboratories around the
world, especially at CERN and in Italy. Currently she was Technology
Director and Scientific Deputy of the Accelerators Division at the National
Laboratory of Frascati of the Italian National Nuclear Physics Institute.
 
While I am telling the news to CELLS staff, I wish to thank Gastón García
for his work as Acting Director, to the CELLS' staff for his work during
this period of interim and wish to Dr. Biscari a brilliant stage in front of
the Facility.
