Meeting of the Governing Council of ALBA
On 29th November, the Governing Council of ALBA has met at ALBA's facilities. The Council has been chaired by the Minister of Economy and Knowledge of the Catalan Government, Andreu Mas-Colell, and the State Secretary for Research, Development and Innovation of the Spanish Government, Carmen Vela.
Accompanied by the director, Caterina Biscari, the president of the Executive Commission, Ramon Pascual, and the ALBA's division heads, the members of the Governing Council have visited the experimental hall and some of the beamlines of the ALBA Synchrotron.
The Governing Council of ALBA is the main decision-making body and usually meets twice a year. Its responsibilities are to ensure and supervise the performance of the ALBA Synchrotron.
