Getting to DELTA

Arrival by plane

Dortmund has its own international airport (DTM) with arrivals from Paris, London-Luton and Barcelona. Flights are operated by EasyJet and Air Berlin. From the airport there is a shuttle bus to Dortmund main station, where you have to take the suburban train S1 to get to the university. You can also take the bus no. 440, exit in Dortmund-Eichlinghofen (south campus) and then take the "H-Bahn" (suspended monorail system) to the north campus.

Duesseldorf International (DUS) can be reached from most other airports. The easiest way to get from there to the university is to attend the suburban train S1 (time table), which has a station at the university.

It is only a short walk from the S-Bahn station "Dortmund Universität" to the hotel.

Arrival by car

DELTA is next to the motorway intersection of the A45 and A40/B1. Coming from the north, or south on the A45 you have to exit to the east onto the A40/B1 and then just have to take the next exit (DO-Dorstfeld, Universität), so do not change the lane! Coming from the west on the A40/B1 you have to exit DO-Dorstfeld, Universität. Turn left and then the next traffic light turn left again (Emil-Figge Strasse). DELTA ist situated at this street having the gateway "Einfahrt 5". Following the Emil-Figge Strasse for roughly 1.5 km you will find the hotel TRYP Dortmund.

We do not recommend to follow the A40/B1, if you are coming from the east, because you will have to go through the urban traffic of Dortmund! Better you follow the A2 and switch to the A45 southwards. And follow the way described above.

Arrival by train

The main station is located in the city of dortmund, to get to the university from there you just have to take the suburban strain S1 and exit "Dortmund Universität".
