European Synchrotron Light Source RF Meetings
Yearly meeting of the RF experts of the European Synchrotron Light Sources.
The meeting is intended to share operation experiences, discuss the new developments in the field and it is a forum to establish international collaborations.
The meeting, as it is now, started back in 1997, but the seed of the meeting started in 1995, when, at the time, five light sources projects in Europe were waiting to be founded: ANKA, SOLEIL, DIAMOND, SLS and ALBA.
Dieter Einfeld, at the time head of ANKA, invited the RF responsible of the other four non-founded projects to share the concepts on the RF design and try to collaborate in a standardisation of components.
The standardisation did not succeed, but the meeting did!
You will find in here one of the more complete source of information about RF systems for synchrotrons.
